Secretaries notes.
Because of the Foot & Mouth Epidemic the clubs caving activities are severely restricted. We plan to produce an alternative list of kindred activities. This is currently been drawn up.
In the mean time we have managed to book the following.
White Scar Cave is booked for Sunday the 29th April. There is an admission charge of £2 -50 per person. Will all members wishing to go please contact Peter Wilson at the club on Thursday or Telephone 01282 - 695346.
The caving involves crossing small lakes and canals so wet suits or dry suits are recommended. Allow three to four hours for the trip. The cave is of grand proportions and has many excellent formations and is suitable for novices with supervision.
The club newsletter editor is currently compiling information and photos with view to producing a fiftieth anniversary journal. Will members from the early days and recent times please pass any old newsletters, anecdotes and photos on to Wayne Brown, 22 Glen Street, Colne, Lancashire, BB8 9EW. We currently have a gap of information for the period 1960 - 1963.
